Stonewashed and Overdyed Shirts

To: Sizes/Washing

Pohaku T's stonewashed shirts are made by bleaching out color from a dark or dyed 100% cotton T-shirt. (We use Hanes Beefy T's whenever possible). This gives each shirt a distinctive, stylish look.

Overdyed shirts are made by re-dying the bleached areas of stonewashed shirts with a new color.

Overdyed shirts have a deep color and soft touch that makes them one of the classiest, best looking items in today's t-shirt and tank top fashions.

Wear them alone for a distinctive, but sporty look, or with a sport jacket or vest for casual dress-up

All of this in just a t-shirt!

Sizes/Washing

Stonewashing shrinks the shirts one half to one full size. They will not shrink further.

Stonewashed shirts bleed little or not at all when washed. Overdyed shirts typically have excess dye in them that washes out. Overdyed shirts should not be worn next to white clothing until they've been washed.

For overdyed shirts, separate or "darks only" laundering is recommended for initial wash. Cool water, gentle detergent or soap, and inside-out washing is best for both stonewashed and overdyed shirts.
