Our petroglyph designs are taken from actual hawaiian petroglyphs. In each case we have located the petroglyphs in the field, and have made each design from a specific site. Where artistically feasible, the designs reflect the lay of the petroglyphs in the rock.
While interpretations of petroglyphs are often speculative, we have relied on personal and library resources for reasonable explanations and accurate Hawaiian translations.
Explanatory hang tags with Hawaiian/English translations are provided with all petroglyph shirts.
